GreenSharp makes its debut in travel market with BagAPP

AllSharp, the British partner of GreenSharp Holding, has developed an innovative mobile application aimed at changing the way travellers visit European cities.

BagAPP, GreenSharp’s first mobile product dedicated to the tourism sector and launched on the Stores via its partner AllSharp Corporation Ltd., is much more than just an application. It’s a real marketplace hinging on the sharing economy principles, combining B2B and B2C in an offering unique in its nature.

The service, available to download for free on App Store, Play Store and on bagapp.co.uk, helps travellers to search and book a temporary short term deposit for luggage and personal effects choosing from a network of non conventional deposits situated in the city centre and near public transport stops in order to drop the bags and visit hands – free.

BagAPP’s network of deposits includes various types of commercial facilities such as bars, shops, restaurants, hotels and travel agencies. These partners have web access to a back-end platform with individual credentials allowing them to manage autonomously opening hours, prices, bookings and the baggage check-in and check-out.

BagAPP takes advantage of its geolocation feature to match the traveller with the nearest deposits based on his/her current location or on the proposed itinerary. This way it’s easy to book anytime up to a few minutes before the luggage drop off. Access is easy thanks to the registration via Facebook o G+ and since prepayment is not required and the booking can be cancelled up to an hour before drop off travellers changing their minds or itinerary often don’t need to worry. Between its most interesting features is the ‘Take me there’ one linking with Google maps to help the client reach the deposit.

Whatever amount of time is available to visit the city, BagAPP improves the tourist’s experience by helping him/her to move around without cumbersome weights. Furthermore, the pre-check in feature can helps speed up the deposit drop off in order to enjoy every moment of the holiday.

BagAPP’s network currently has more than 30 deposits in London, Milan, Rome, Venice, Berlin & Prague and the destinations’ list is constantly growing. Prices start from 3€ per hour.

With this innovative product GreenSharp makes its debut in the tourism sector with all the numbers to transform city travel experiences for the tourists meanwhile offering new revenue streams to commercial facilities, without any investment, just by optimising their existing assets. It’s a first step for its partner AllSharp Corporation Ltd., who is getting ready to further expand GreenSharp Holding’s offering under its motto of “Comfortable travel for everyone”.
